My goals as Watershed Director
are to use our 319 Federal Grant to help citizens, including
farmers, homeowners,
businesses, cities and counties within the watershed, to
solve pollution
problems that are impacting
the Etowah River and its tributaries. The grant provides
some money
and advisory assistance to
help the grantee to be better able to afford the corrective
project.
This watershed is one of the
most unique watersheds in the country and supports a large
population of plants, fish and
other critters as well as provides water for our growing
counties.
